Our role

ByMySun is an independent comparison, education and lead-generation service. We do not design, supply, install or guarantee any solar, battery or energy product. Where you ask us to, we introduce you to third-party MCS-certified installers. Any contract for goods or services is strictly between you and that installer.

Information, not advice

Our guides, calculators and recommendations are general information based on UK averages and public sources. They are not financial, legal or technical advice, and figures such as savings, payback and system size are estimates only. Always get a professional survey and your own quotes before making a decision.

Affiliate & commercial disclosure

Some product links are affiliate links: if you buy after clicking, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you — we never apply a markup. Installers pay us for introductions. These arrangements never change the information we publish or which installers we vet.

Acceptable use

Please use the site lawfully and don’t submit other people’s details without their permission, or false information. We may decline or remove enquiries we believe to be fraudulent or abusive.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the acts, omissions, products or services of any installer or retailer, nor for decisions you make based on our general information. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law.
